This week's artist is the artist formerly known as Terence Trent D'Arby: Sananda Maitreya. Everytime I hear this man sing, I hear parts of Sam Cooke, Prince, Michael Jackson, and James Brown. But it's always ALL Sanada. Such a magnificent voice. Gritty, soulful, and smooth. This particular song always gets me in a good mood.
