LAW: 09232012

This week's LAW has me feeling a bit nostalgic. I remember hearing this song on the lite rock station when I was a kid. It was the only station my father would let us listen to unsupervised as children. I had this song on a mix tape that I played constantly in my Walkman. I'd rewind and play this song over and over again on family trips / vacations. This song and Robbie Dupree's Steal Away.

Man, I wish I kept my old mix tapes. Some of those songs, such as this one, are hard to find on iTunes or Amazon MP3. I was able to find a copy of the song somewhere online finally. But, it was really difficult to get a copy with good, crisp quality. This song is one of my treasures from my childhood. The beat is so hypnotic and has kind of an island flavor to it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
