I've barely scratched the surface on the comics I picked up last week. And this week rolls on around with the quickness. Like I said last week, it's a nice problem to have. The only issue is that I carry my unread comics around in my backpack like Linus with his blanket. So it's beginning to get a little heavy lately.
Sounds like something in the pro column for going digital. I'm not there yet, but the news of Comixology offering bundles and subscriptions is tempting as well. Offering a discount would really seal the deal for me.
So what am I looking forward to this week? Lately, it seems I'm more drawn to the smaller companies like Valiant, Dynamite, & BOOM. I'm eager to read The Shadow, Suicide Risk, and Shadowman. But I'm interested in the Dynamite miniseries, The Owl. I really enjoy what Dynamite has been doing with the pulp heroes. Reading the team-up in Masks really had me salivating and hungering for more, and they do not disappoint. And I am definitely ready for the upcoming team-up of The Shadow and The Green Hornet in Dark Nights.
Here are the comics that I added yesterday to the mountain of unread comics:
